Some early arrivals to the Tetons NP, Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole. The bulls congregate together and the cows gather in another area.
A herd of all bull elks coming down out of the mountains into the valley to find more food. They were nicely spread out and apparently in no hurry. As the snow gets deeper in the mountains and food becomes more scarce, they move down and gather in their traditional herding area outside of Jackson Hole. The Elk Refuge.
