Baylor Men's Basketball 2012

This was Baylor's final home game for the 2012 season and the seniors were honored after the game. It was a nice ending since Baylor defeated Texas Tech. Here is senior, Quincy Acy in a sequence picture making a nice easy lay-up shot. He most certainly will be missed next year.

Here is a two shot sequence picture of a Quincy Acy slam dunk late in the game.

In the Kansas State game with 1:32 sec. left, Quincy Acy went up for a shot and got slammed to the floor and no foul called. Play continued as if nothing ever happened. Quincy was obviously fouled and shortly afterward the game was over and Baylor lost 57-56 to Kansas State.

It was nice to see the guys happy after their win over Iowa State.

This is a pass sequence from Quincy Miller to Perry Jones III for a slam dunk. You can see how wide-open Perry is and the dunk was easy.

Here is an alley oop pass to Anthony Jones and you can see the track of the ball as it comes down to him at the rim of the basket. He almost flew too far behind the back-board to complete the shot, but he barely tipped it in for the score.

Here is a great Quincy Acy blocked shot sequence, and you can see the track of the ball as it travels over to shot #8 where Perry Jones III catches the ball.

Quincy Acy is flying higher than a man should be able to do with this dunk shot. Even his team mates are astounded at the display of talent. I am shooting from above, so my camera angle doesn't make him look higher, he is just that high.

This shot is the one where Quincy Acy fouled out of the Iowa State game. He went out with a bang, and it was quite a collision. Fortunately no one was hurt.

Quincy Acy comes in from behind with another blocked shot. The ones from behind are the most difficult to do without being called for a foul.

Should this be called a personal foul, or listed as an assist? Second since the Missouri player is assisting Quincy Acy with the shot, should he make the basket, does each team share in the score. Baylor gets one point and Missouri one? The answer is no on the point split. No matter who makes the shot the score goes to the team that possess the goal during that half of the game. Just a little more humor.

Ballet or Basketball. Now just which is it?

More ballet? May it never be.

By the looks on everone's faces it appears that they all are distressed about the ball suddenly going flat right in the middle of the game. Ha ha.
